Great Music!
The Best of Gospel Music Returns to Middle Tennessee
Welcome to the website of the Second Annual Middle Tennessee Gospel Music Festival, at the Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Sponsored by Rutledge Falls Baptist Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee, this is the one annual event you don’t want to miss.
Join us March 8-9, 2013, for two Spirit-filled afternoons and evenings as 14 groups share the gospel of Christ through a dynamic blend of Southern, Bluegrass, Contemporary and Traditional gospel music. You will be blessed by an uplifting time of praise and worship from a dynamic group of vocalists and musicians using their talent to glorify God. This year’s line-up includes award winning groups Ernie Dawson and Heirline, The Freemans, Vocal Union, Crystal River and Three Bridges; rising new artists like The Beelers, Brandon Scott Smith, Locust Ridge and The Riders along with local favorites The Cavaliers Quartet, CrossPoint String Band, Work in Progress, Nathan and Tonya Horton, and By Faith.
Some of these groups have performed for the President of the U.S., at Carnegie Hall, on music projects for Bill Gaither’s homecoming CD and in your local churches. Check out the program brochure and links on the left for details on each. You don’t want to miss what is soon to become a favorite Annual Gospel Music Festival in Tennessee held the second weekend in March each year.
All of the groups performing have once again stepped out on faith to spread the Gospel of Christ, to bring hope to a hurting world and to win souls for the Kingdom of Heaven. They have not charged their customary honorarium fees, but have agreed to share in the proceeds from the ticket sales for these two days. These proceeds, along with love offerings to be taken on Friday and Saturday, will be distributed equally among the performing groups. However, there is one group who just want to share the gospel through song and asked not to receive any money.
